Those of you whose interest in Lord Peter has been piqued by my recent drabble, might want to see antoshevu's recent LPW drabble he wrote at my request.  It's an LPW/HP crossover.  I asked him to write Harriet and Peter, and told him that the prompt was "I open at the close."
  • I liked it (and left a quick comment), but how tempting it must have been to take a closer look.

So you've planted a few hundred bulbs, eh? Well done, and I want pics of the blooming!
    • Okay. They're all going to bloom at different times, from March to September, which is part of the fun.
  • I really liked it and left him a comment. All these drabbles of Lord Peter made me kind of miss the books. I haven't read them in a long time. Might dig out my old copy of Busman's Honymoon or the Nine Taylors, or...
    • Busman's Honeymoon always makes me smile. I love her observation that, to the lovers in a mystery story, the mystery is always a distraction from the story they want to tell. So then she wrote a novel that expressed that feeling.
  • Thanks for that! I enjoyed that and left a comment.

All this LPW drabbles have set me wondering why I never tried writing in that world when I know the stories inside out. Probably a good thing. :P
    • I dunno. I think maybe some of us should start writing LPW fan fics. I don't think I'd have the heart to write the sort of ruthless sorrow that I put into my HP fan fics, though.
